Our Holiday Elf program provided gifts and food baskets for the children of over 100 families in our service area of Lacey, Waretown and Barnegat. Individual Rotarians from our club provided for the first 60 families. Most of these families had two or three children. With the money we raised at our Fund Raisers like the Autumn Cash Raffle and the Plasma TV Raffle, the Lacey Township High School Interact club shopped for 107 children in the remaining families. The Interact is a form of Rotary for High School Students. We sponsor the Interact Club in Lacey Township High School. For more Information about Interact, click here The Interact Club also assembled Food Basket consisting of Hams purchased by our club and food collected during the months November and December though our food drive (our Rotary Club places food collection barrels at the Shop Rite of Lacey, NJ). The Food Baskets and Gifts were delivered by Rotarians and Interact students to the families.
