| On Saturday March 6th, The Rotary Club of Forked River
held its 6th annual Casino Night. It was a fun-filled evening with
lots of gambling, hooting, hollering and good old fashion fun. The
participants played blackjack, roulette, craps, and bet on horse races all
for a chance to win prizes at the end of the evening. We gave away over 70
prizes plus 10 door prizes and a whopping $1,171 in the 50/50.
We had a record attendance of 238 people at Casino Night. The great turnout coupled with donations from the tables/horse race sponsors helped our club raise $8,171.86 this evening. Money raised at this event, others we hold during the course the year plus the donations to our programs by the local business and club Rotarians enable us to provide over $100,000 in financial support.
